May 19th 2008 will see the long awaited release UK of Trickbaby's second album Chor Bazaar. Recorded in the band's own studio and at London's prestigious (but sadly no longer with us) Eden studios. Produced by Trickbaby, and mixed with Emre Ramazanoglu (Prodigy/Shakira) and Dario Dendi (Stereophonics/Kaiser Chiefs/KT Tunstall) it will be released on Wrasse Records in the UK.

The band have made two videos, to first single ‘Fighter’ an amazing animated video with Therapy Films' director Mox (Coldcut/Dub Pistols) and to a new version of ‘Nine Parts Of Desire’ which is produced by Ramesh Sippy (Sholay), directed by Rohan Sippy (Bluffmaster) and stars Abishek Bachchan as Saira's love interest, with Priyanka Chopra as her love rival. There are also guest appearances on the album by Marcella Detroit (ex Shakespeare's Sister) and Gogol Bordello's Eugene Hutz, Yuri Lemeshev (accordion) and Sergey Ryabtzev (violin).

Trickbaby performed 4 new songs live on Nikki Bedi’s show on the BBC Asian Network on Feb 26th,at the UK AMAS (Asian Music Awards) at the Royal Festival Hall in London on March 6th and opened two nights for Rachid Taha at London’s prestigious Jazz Cafe on April 14th and 15th .
